Add Lookup Item Web Part v2.0

SharePoint users often make
use of lists which leverage
other lookup lists. Certainly,
SharePoint lookup fields provide
a solution to a common
business pattern. However, the
functionality for certain common
scenarios is not there. This web part adds a
link that reads “Add…” to the
right of the lookup field that
when clicked, displays a
small pop-up form to allow
the user to create a new entry
in the lookup list. No page refresh is usually needed, so it is fast and simply works the way you would expect it to.
Also, since this web part only
shows the link to users with
the appropriate permissions
and since it can be used for
several lookup fields on the
same form, it is simple and safe to
